Valentine's Day

On Valentines Day we will celebrate with the exchange of Valentine greetings. This can be a card that is home made or bought. It could be a child’s drawing or a little note.

We ask that the cards be addressed to no specific child as this makes it difficult for your Valentine to deliver his/her cards in a random fashion. The children will be placing them in the home-made boxes you provide and crafted with your child at home. This decorated box is due on Feb. 10th (Thursday).

If you are a returning student you are welcomed to use your box from last year if you kept them. These boxes can be of any size or shape as long as it is big enough to hold your cupids wonderful treasures. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Dental Hygiene Month

St. Joseph Early Learning Center celebrates Dental Hygiene month with a presentation from neighborhood dentist Dr. Scott Kanimori DDS.

 

Shown in the photo Dr. Kanimori and dental assistant Tiana Ripani (mother of student Nainoa Ripani)show students the fun way to brush their teeth.

 

The students also go to watch a PowerPoint presentation and take home their own tooth brush goodie bag. Mahalo Dr. Kanimori and Mrs. Ripani for a healthy smile.
