I am thoroughly enjoying my 9th year of teaching. Five of which have been here at St. Joseph School. Prior to teaching Kindergarten and 1st Grade here at St. Joseph, I taught in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I grew up. There’s no “warmer” place I’d rather be than with the wonderful children, families, and staff that surround me here at St. Joseph School! |

I am currently teaching my 15th class of 5th graders. Prior to joining the St. Joseph staff in 2001, I taught at St. Catherine's in Redondo Beach, California. In
addition, I teach 4th Grade Social Studies and
serve as the Social Studies Dept. Chairperson. I
am very proud of my years at St. Joseph, and
have great appreciation for the opportunity to
bring the life and teachings of Jesus into my
daily course of instruction. I also believe that
a solid understanding of our history is
essential to our roles as informed and empowered
citizens. I have great affection for the
Upcountry Catholic Community, and for all of the
students who have come through my class. In my
spare time I enjoy ocean activities, various artistic and musical
outlets for creative expression, and especially
enjoy spending time with my wife Mary, daughters
Natalie and Kailie, and dogs Mocha and Michiko. |
