St. Joseph School is administered by the pastor of Saint Joseph Parish and a Principal. The pastor and principal are ultimately responsible for the administration of the school as directed by the Bishop of Honolulu and the policies designed by the Hawai'i Catholic Schools.

The pastor and principal collaborate with the St. Joseph School Board, Finance Committee and the Maui Catholic School Board toward securing quality Catholic education.
